Course Overview

A Data-driven path for PEOPLE’s PROCESSES Human Resource (HR) is the least reputed of all the departments in a company – it’s probably because a brush with the HR is almost always the harbinger of a bad news and its work is not based on numbers like sales, but based on gut feeling that is impossible to quantify and measure its success. People analytics changes all this and puts HR on a data-driven path that solves most of its challenges and answers many of its queries by analysing data. People/talent/HR analytics is a data-driven and goal-focused method of studying people processes and achieve sustainable business success. Since its first usage in mid-1900s, people analytics has transitioned from prescriptive analytics to predictive analytics. This helps HR managers and executives in making smarter, strategic and informed talent decisions related to hiring, managing, increasing employee performance and retention.
